"Simpsons heroine Marge Simpson is set to grace the November cover and pages of top gravure rag Playboy with a variety of racy poses, including a supposed full nude.

The move is said to be an effort to appeal to younger readers (those in their twenties, with the average age of a Playboy reader being 35) on the 20th anniversary of the show, with Playboy owner Hugh Hefner himself having appeared on the show and said to be a great fan of the series.

It is the first time a 2D character has appeared on the rag’s cover, though subscribers will receive a version with the usual strumpet on the cover."

Singapore population hits 4.99 million

The number of foreigners in Singapore are still increasing at a faster rate than residents (including foreign PRs). We're going to get overrun pretty soon.

The government is also quite clever in that they only count citizens and PR residents, they don't give you a breakdown of exactly how many are Singapore-born...

I personally think there is no need to have so large a population in Singapore. 5 million on a small island? That's going to be really cramped.
