Have you guys called down to complain about the screwed up packet loss yet?
It should be singnet's problem, since it doesn't happen to all other isp users locally. I've called and complained about it, but their reply was that its Starhub's problem.... but I get packet loss on all tf2 servers. I'm still waiting for my reply from my 3rd call though.
starhub will say its singnet's fault.
singnet will say its starhub's fault.
sadly, i guess there's nothing much to be done. SO far the lag issue is only bothering me if i play in the afternoon (30 loss) and evening (insane 60 loss). morning and midnight 0 loss.
It's quite reasonable for singnet to blame starhub at that point of time, since i only sent them a tracert to a starhub server and the IP which screwed up was a Starhub IP, so I called again(2nd call) to clarify this problem and asked them to check again... and they didn't give me any reply for that.
And the loss is annoying the shit out of me since the loss and choke is insanely bad at times, encountered a 60 loss and 70 choke before.
Nic called a week or 2 ago, still haven't solve anything, sigh.
Yeah... their reply to me was stupid too....
"We checked with our network department and they said that there's nothing with the latency to the IP, we suggest you contact higher up in the network department"
Just called again. Check out their response.
"I've approached our network team and they tell us that the tracert you have send us is the only hop range we can do, regarding your network problem, we can do nothing about it."
Sigh :(
yes, im getting constant 50 (or more) loss.
but occasionally at 1-2am, the connection becomes smooth (happened twice only).
i called and emailed MANY times and they take super long to call back btw.
after pasting to them my tracert and ping results in an email, they took a LONG time to reply to tell me that the problem doesnt lie with Singnet, and that its the game server's problem.

so.. its not fixed yet? =(
singnet to starhub is fixed already. the last time i tried playing on Gamesync, there was still around 20+ loss. not sure if thats fixed yet.
Has it been isolated to a Singnet problem already? If there are large numbers of people who can confirm this maybe I can try to contact the ISP to see what they say.
